Police say they have arrested and are investigating circumstances under which a gun-wielding man was seen in a viral video terrorizing road users at Kasoa.
The weapon has since been retrieved according to Police.
A middle-aged man, was on the Ghana Police wanted list after a video of him brandishing a gun on a motorist surfaced online.
The suspect, alleged to be an officer stationed in Takoradi is seen not in uniform as he assaults a motorist.
The altercation reportedly occurred after the motorist confronted the suspect for driving recklessly on the road.
However, a post sighted on the official Facebook Page of the Ghana Police indicates that the perceived gunman has been arrested.
In November last year, the Police arrested one Nii Ponponsuo and musician Medikal who was seen brandishing a pump-action gun in a viral video on social media.
The brouhaha reportedly occurred after the motorist confronted the suspect for driving recklessly on the road.
