The Minister for Communications and Digitalisation, Sam Nartey George, has announced that Ghana will host the 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF), providing a platform for Ghanaian startup owners to receive support and scale their businesses.
The Global Entrepreneurship Festival, described as the largest event of its kind, is a three-day celebration featuring around 12 concurrent activities, including keynote sessions, masterclasses, pitch competitions, exhibitions, and award ceremonies.
The announcement was made during a press briefing held earlier today at the ISD Press Centre in Accra, where the Minister outlined key initiatives and developments within the communications sector.
Ghana will host the festival from November 21 to 23, 2025, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra. The event coincides with Global Entrepreneurship Week and is expected to attract over 10,000 in-person participants from more than 70 countries. It will also feature over 100 exhibitors.
“This event brings into the country venture capitalists, angel investors, and captains of industry to partner with the brightest innovators and startups in our country,” the Minister stated.
