Ghanaian entrepreneur and co-founder of the People Building Institute (PBI), Stephen Dotse has affirmed that Ghanaian business owners should begin to make strides towards acquiring international patronization.

The People Building Institute (PBI) is an Africa based organization, established to guide and nurture young executives and business owners to be skilled within an ecosystem where these individuals are safely able to navigate the maze of growing up and doing business in today’s world.

Dotse indicated that many young entrepreneurs in Ghana aim to grow their businesses only within their various communities. He described this move as what restricts Ghanaian indigenous businesses from going beyond the borders of Ghana.

During the launch of PBI Ghana and Lesotho at Soho Restaurant Accra, alongside the launch of the ‘Farming for the Future Seminar’ which will be held from August 21, 2023 to August 24, 2023, he added that Ghanaian business owners must aim to get their business to the top brands business and commerce industry.  “We have come to understand that people start businesses and they only want to do it In the communities in which they live; Somebody is doing a business in Accra but does not want to take it to Takoradi or Kumasi because they are only comfortable in Accra. We want to encourage young people to think global so that their products can be patronised among the big brands in the rest of the world”, he reiterated.

Meanwhile, Elinam Horgli, a co-founder of the entrepreneurship firm encouraged young Ghanaian entrepreneurs to take advantage of the agricultural industry which is complimented by Africa’s rich soil and beautiful landscape that awaits the brilliant ideas that are yet to become fully fleshed businesses.
