Social media is flooding with comments and reactions of shocked users who are demanding strict probing by investigative bodies into the acquistion of such huge amounts of money by Ghana’s Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Dapaah after her two maids stole several millions of Cedis at her residence in Abelempkpe, Accra.
According to local news reports, the two house helps, Patience Botwe (18), and Sarah Agyei (30) allegedly stole money and items running into millions of Ghana Cedis.
The house helps reportedly stole US$1 million, €300,000 and millions of Ghana cedis and are currently facing court charges of one count of conspiracy to commit crime and five counts of stealing US$1 million, €300,000 and millions of Ghana cedis.
These reports have left many netizens wondering how the minister accumulated these sums of money.
