Video: What Mahama saGhanaians are blessed to have Mahama - Kofi Adamsid about Ghana’s COVID-19 Situation

Former National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Kofi Adams, has opined that Ghanaians are blessed to have Mahama contest for the 2020 elections because the ex-president is very much equipped with unrivaled experience on how to manage an economy.

In an exclusive interview with Kwame Afrifa Mensah on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show, he argued that every president who leaves power is able to identify a problem he could have solved better. He thus noted that the former president, having served as a vice-president and a president had invaluable experience on how to manage the economy better.

“In Ghana, the only person that we are so blessed to have the experience of being a vice president and a president is Mahama. He has been able to observe the problems so when he comes again, things will just be happening”, he said.

He exemplified his point by stating, “It is like an experienced farmer versus a new farmer who only knows the theory. The experienced farmer will know the time to plough the land, time to plant and the time to harvest. However, the amateur farmer will have to read the books to know what to do. It is also like a driver. Sometimes when driving and you meet an obstacle, people will direct you but when you come down to see the problem, then you will be able to solve it”.

He was confident that Ghanaians will see a “miracle” in 2021 and he further advised that people should not be swayed by the “COVID-19 stimulus packages because that has become gospel for some people”.
