Ghanaians cannot be misled by your lack of understanding – Presidency replies Domelevo

Going on an extended leave means you're not needed - Labour expert implies

The office of the President of Ghana [President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo] has responded to the country’s Auditor-General Daniel Domelevo in an open letter saying the latter lacks understanding of the law.

Domelevo has been ordered by President Akufo-Addo to proceed on accumulated leave. However, in response, the chief auditor of Ghana said the decision was taken in bad faith, although he has begun his leave out of respect for the president.

The executive secretary of the president, Nana Bediatuo Asante, has in an open letter said his boss took the decision based on sound legal judgement.
