President of the Ghana Journalists Association, Albert Dwumfour has commended the National Elections Security Taskforce for the good work done during the just ended elections.

According to him, the election taskforce team led by the Inspector General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare should be applauded for the role played during the elections.

Speaking during a media coalition presser, Mr. Dwumfour mentioned that, the police must be applauded for safeguarding and ensuring the safety of media practitioners and generally ensuring a peaceful election process.

He added that, the police service and other security agencies must be commended for their work, which according to him, helped journalists who were on the field to work freely.
