Leading integrated marketing communications agency, Global Media Alliance, is set to hold an exclusive PR Fireside Chat on July 18, 2025, with two leading PR practitioners.

The much-anticipated event will serve as the grand finale of the 5th anniversary celebration of the World Public Relations Day (WPRD) Festival, an annual celebration that Global Media Alliance has proudly championed in Ghana in partnership with key industry stakeholders.

This year’s Fireside Chat promises to be a powerful and thought-provoking session, bringing together two distinguished personalities with deep-rooted experience in public relations to share insights on the theme: “Dominant Coalition and Personal Branding.”

The conversation will feature Madam Cynthia Lumor, Deputy Managing Director of Tullow Ghana, and Mr. Gayheart Mensah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Corporate Services) at the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), with moderation by Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo, Group Head of Marketing, Corporate Affairs, and Customer Experience at Hollard Ghana.

The session will unpack the strategic role of personal branding in influencing dominant coalitions, the key decision-makers within organizations and industries. It delves into how senior PR professionals assert influence, gain visibility, and shape critical decisions in increasingly complex and hierarchical environments.
“As we mark five years of championing World Public Relations Day in Ghana, this Fireside Chat is not just a celebration; it’s a moment of reflection. By engaging some of the industry’s most respected voices, we aim to inspire the next generation of PR professionals to embrace personal branding as a strategic tool for leadership, influence, and transformation,” said Emma Wenani, Chief Director of Global Media Alliance.

As the headline event of the WPRD Festival 2025, the Fireside Chat is expected to attract a wide and diverse audience, including PR practitioners, communication experts, policymakers, students, businesses, and representatives from academia.

Global Media Alliance invites the public and industry players to join this insightful experience as part of its commitment to advancing the PR profession and fostering conversations that empower communicators across sectors.
