The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a weather alert, warning of continued light to moderate rainfall across parts of southern Ghana from Wednesday afternoon into the evening.
In its 24-hour forecast released on October 15, 2025, GMet indicated that areas including Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Ho, and Koforidua are expected to experience light rain or drizzle later in the day.
Meanwhile, the northern regions are likely to remain mostly sunny through the early afternoon, with thunderstorms or rain expected later over parts of Kete-Krachi, Bolgatanga, Nalerigu, and nearby communities.
GMet also reported that sea conditions remain calm.
The Agency assured the public that its regional offices are closely monitoring developments and will provide further updates if needed.
Residents, especially those in flood-prone areas, are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated with official weather information in case of sudden changes.
