Ghana Olympic Committee( GOC) President, Ben Nunoo Mensah has confirmed to Happy Sports that he has promised to reward Hearts of Oak team if they beat arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.

Hearts of Oak will face off with Asante Kotoko on match day six of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.

This will be the first Super Clash to be played this season with both sides hoping to win to secure the bragging rights.

Ben Nunoo Mensah was at the Carl Reindolf Stadium to support the Phobians defeat Liberty Professionals on Sunday.

It was revealed by the Hearts of Oak Supporters Chief Elvis Herman Hesse in an interview on Happy FM that the GOC President rewarded the team after that magnificent win against Liberty Professionals and promised to repeat it again in their next game.

Ben Nunoo Mensah confirmed to Happy FM on the promise he made to the Phobians ahead of the Super Clash.

“I promised Hearts of Oak before the game against Liberty and they won so I had to deliver”.

“I made another promise that if they win I will repeat it but I didn’t know they were playing our brothers Asante Kotoko”, he said on Wamputu Sports on Happy FM.

“I can’t predict but I am sure Hearts will beat Asante Kotoko on Sunday. Hearts have a solid team, you can see improvement in their game”.

“Nii Odoom is a very good coach and let’s see when he comes up against Maxwell Konadu on Sunday”, he added.
