The Ghana government has approved an amount US$ 8m budget for the hosting of the 2018 Women Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
This will cater for renovation works at the Accra Sports Stadium, training pitches at El Wak and the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast.
The tournament will be held from 17 November to 1 December.
‘His Excellency the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has approved an amount of US$8m for the hosting of the 2018 Africa Women’s Championship,” Asiamah disclosed at Tuesday’s Meet the Press in Accra.
“That will be used for the renovation of the stadia and other training facilities to be used for the tournament.”
