Government has assured its international partners that it continues to make significant progress in discussions with all remaining creditors included in the debt restructuring perimeter.
In a statement, government reiterated its commitment to the principles of the G20 Common Framework, emphasizing that no creditor has been treated preferentially. Officials have strictly applied the provisions outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding with official creditors, ensuring adherence to the Comparability of Treatment principle.
As part of its strategy, the government confirmed that it remains in arrears with all external creditors included in the debt restructuring perimeter, signaling a consistent approach to negotiations.
“The Government remains committed to achieving a fair and mutually beneficial resolution with all creditors and thanks its partners for their forbearance, cooperation, and support,” the statement read.
