The Government of Ghana is set to make public the report on the August 6 helicopter tragedy on Tuesday, November 11 following its presentation to the National Security Council on Monday, November 10, 2025.
This was disclosed by the Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, in a Facebook post describing the coming days as a “very important week” for national developments.
According to him, the investigative report into the tragic incident which claimed several lives will first be submitted to the National Security Council for review before its findings and recommendations are shared with the public at a media briefing on Tuesday.
Mr. Kwakye Ofosu also outlined other major activities scheduled for the week, including the launch of President John Dramani Mahama’s “Nkoko Nkitinkiti” programme in Kumasi on Wednesday, November 12 and the presentation of the 2026 Budget Statement in Parliament on Thursday, November 13 by the Minister for Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.
The release of the helicopter tragedy report is expected to provide full details on the cause of the accident and guide measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
