Accra Hearts of Oak recovered from their match day six defeat against Asante Kotoko to beat Dreams FC by a lone goal at the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu in match day seven of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

Dreams had vowed to inflict another defeat on the Phobians at home but the away side came tall at the end of 90 minutes.

The game started with the Phobians making early incursions to get the opening goal.

Benjamin Afutu had the first chance of the game for Hearts but his effort went wide for a goal kick.

Hearts of Oak forward, Joseph Esso came close to scoring but his effort hit the woodwork to deny Hearts of Oak the opening goal.

The first ended with the game still tied.

Hearts after recess showed much intensity and got the goal through Kofi Kordzi who scored in the 55th minute.

Dreams appealed for a penalty in the dying minutes of the game but was ignored by the referee.

Hearts of Oak after this win have recorded their second win of the season.

Attendance was very impressive as the stadium was filled to its raptors with Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku als o present at the venue.
