GPLOnHappyFM: Hisense to reward loyal fans as 2020/21 season draws to a close

Leading electronics brand in Ghana, Hisense is set to honour its promise to Ghana Premier League (GPL) enthusiasts as the 2020/2021 season comes to an end.

Hisense, at the start of the 2020/2021 season partnered with Ghana’s number one sports station, Happy98.9FM to run a Predict and Win promo as part of their efforts to promote the top-flight league.

The promo which was run on-air and across the social media platforms of Happy98.9FM asked GPL enthusiasts to correctly predict the winner of the Ghana Premier League and Goal King to win a TV set.

Aside from the ultimate prize, the electronics giant also made it a point to give away a wide array of electronic appliances to keen followers of the GPL in the course of the season.

The Marketing Coordinator for Sun Electronics Ltd -Hisense Ghana, Abena Konadu on the partnership with Happy98.9FM to run the promo said, “To engage and involved sports enthusiasts with the Hisense brand through Happy sports commentary on the Ghana Premier League as part of their marketing strategy locally and international.

Head of Sports for Happy98.9FM, Odiasempa Kwame Oware speaking on the promo said, “Finally 2020/2021 GPL season is coming to an end and we recently closed entries for the prediction because we know there is definitely a winner in there. The season has been exciting and we appreciate our sponsors on the management team for their support so far.”

After matchday 30, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are tied on points on top of the table with 56 points.
The two teams clash in what is expected to be a league decider on 25 June 2021 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Karela United forward Diawisie Taylor also leads the goal king chart with 17 goals after matchday 30.

We are just left with three games to end the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
