Agyenim Boateng’s brace ensured Medeama SC recorded a 2-1 win over Aduana Stars at the Akoon Park in matchday eight in the ongoing Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
It was the first win of the season at home for the Mauve and Yellow after four attempts.
Agyenim Boateng opened the scoring in the 7th minute with a cool finish inside the box after connecting from Abass Mohammed’s flick.
Aduana pulled parity before the first half after his miscued shot appears to have been deflected to beat goalkeeper Frank Boateng.
Boateng scored the winner for Medeama in the second half to secure that important win for the homeside.
This win will ease pressure on Coach Samuel Boadu whose job has been on the line due to the team’s unimpressive performances and results.
