Elmina Sharks midfielder Michelle Sarpong scored the first goal of the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season against Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday night.
The left-footed midfielder scored to break the deadlock in the 64th minute to give the Elmina-based side the first goal of the game.
The former Hearts of Oak midfielder goes into the history books with his goal in the ongoing campaign.
