Guinness, the Official Beer Partner of the Premier League (PL), is set to make history by hosting the iconic Premier League Trophy in Ghana for the first time since becoming the league’s Official Partner. This milestone celebrates the deep passion Ghanaians have for football and the unbreakable bond between Guinness and the game.

In August 2024, Guinness officially became the Premier League’s Official Beer and Non-Alcoholic Beer Partner, marking a historic moment as the brand’s first global venture into football sponsorship. Since then, Guinness has continued to elevate football moments across the world, through its unique Guinness Matchday platform, bringing fans closer to the game they love.

Over the years, Guinness has played a pivotal role in Ghanaian football culture, from celebrating the Black Stars’ most unforgettable moments to supporting the Women’s Premier League through Malta Guinness and from grassroots tournaments to the grandest stages of football. Guinness continues to bring fans closer to the sport they love. Now, with the arrival of the Premier League Trophy, Guinness is once again bringing fans closer to the sport they love.

On Sunday, 16th March, Guinness will host an epic live viewing of the PL Week 29 fixtures. Fans will come together on this Matchday for an electrifying viewing featuring big-screen action, expert commentary from their favourite football pundits, interactive fan moments and of course, exclusive access and photo opportunities with the PL Trophy at the event. Guinness Ghana truly believes that great football deserves great beer, and that there is no better way to enjoy the beautiful game than with an ice-cold Guinness in hand.

Guinness Ghana is also excited to extend its portfolio and offer consumers with choices within the iconic Guinness trademark. Its newest offering, Guinness Smooth, is a silky beer with a velvety finish, introduced to complement the bold, full-bodied taste of Guinness Foreign Extra Stout (FES). The Beers Marketing Manager, Sabina Manu, said in a statement; “At Guinness Ghana, consumer passion for the bold, full-bodied taste of Guinness Foreign Extra Stout truly inspires us. Guinness Smooth is an exciting addition to our portfolio introduced to offer a silky, milder taste experience. Whether you prefer the strong, bitter profile of FES or the velvety finish of Smooth, there’s a Guinness for everyone.”

Join us on Sunday, 16th March for an unmissable celebration of football, where fans can capture once-in-a-lifetime memories with the iconic Premier League Trophy, savor an ice-cold Guinness, and be part of an unforgettable Matchday experience.
