Hajia4Real, whose real name is Mona Faiz Montrage, is scheduled to be released from the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia tomorrow, Thursday, May 22, 2025.
She was sentenced on June 28, 2024, to one year and one day in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to receive stolen money in connection with a romance scam that defrauded victims of over $2 million .
The additional day in her sentence allows eligibility for “good time” credit, which could potentially reduce her time served.

Following her release, a U.S. court has approved her request for self-deportation to Ghana, allowing her to avoid detention by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) .
