Happy 98.9 FM, one of Ghana’s leading radio stations, has announced an exciting refresh of its programming schedule set to launch on January 1st, 2025. The revamped lineup reflects the station’s commitment to delivering premium content while staying true to its motto “Nimde3” and “Anigye Nkoaaaa” (Pure Entertainment).

The new schedule features an engaging mix of spiritual upliftment, news, sports, politics, and entertainment, carefully curated to serve the diverse interests of listeners throughout the day. Beginning at 5:00 AM with “Anopa Bosuo,” a morning devotional program, the schedule flows seamlessly through news updates, current affairs discussions, and vibrant entertainment segments until 10:00 PM.

Programmes Manager Kwabena Ampong explains the vision behind the changes: “Radio isn’t just about broadcasting – it’s about creating moments that matter in people’s lives. We’ve been listening closely to what our audience wants, and this new lineup reflects exactly that. Whether you’re starting your day with prayers, catching up on news during your commute, or unwinding with some highlife in the afternoon, we’re making sure Happy FM is right there with you, keeping it real and keeping it entertaining. This isn’t just a schedule change; it’s our way of saying we’re growing with our listeners.”

The refreshed programming emphasizes interactive segments and community engagement, featuring popular shows like the “Happy Morning Show” with its “Oman Nu Tes3n” segment, and “Epa Hoa Daben” for political discourse. Sports enthusiasts can look forward to expanded coverage during the three-hour “Happy Sports” segment, while music lovers will enjoy the finest selection of highlife and hiplife during “Anigyee Mre.”

The station’s news commitment remains strong with multiple daily bulletins, including “Happy Kasiebo” and comprehensive evening news coverage, ensuring listeners stay well-informed about local and national developments.

Listeners can tune in to Happy 98.9 FM starting January 1st to experience the enhanced programming. For more information about specific shows and schedules, visit www.happyghana.com or follow @happy989fm on all social media platforms.
