Happy 98.9 FM set for live coverage of NPP Parliamentary Primaries in Orphan Constituencies

Happy 98.9 FM is gearing up for comprehensive live coverage of the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries in all seats in an effort to keep the public informed and involved.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023, and the radio station plans to provide in-depth and extensive reporting across its social media platforms.

The comprehensive coverage will span over 120 constituencies nationwide, covering various regions in Ghana. Some of the highlighted constituencies include:

  • Greater Accra: La Dadekotopon, Ledzokuku, Tema East, Madina Adenta
  • Upper West: Lawra Constituency, Wa West Constituency
  • Western Region: Prestea Huni Valley, Amenfi East Jomoro
  • Eastern Region: Upper Manya Krobo and others
  • Ashanti Region: Fomena and New Edubiase
  • Northern Region Saboba Constituency
  • Oti: Krachi East
  • Upper East: Navrongo, Timpane, Zebila Constituency

Acclamation ceremonies have already taken place in several constituencies, notably in the Upper East Region’s Pusiga Constituency, Bolgatanga East, and Builsa North.

Additionally, constituencies in the Greater Accra Region, such as Ada Constituency, La Dadekotopon, and Tema East, have also witnessed the acclamation process.

Happy 98.9 FM aims to keep its audience well-informed about the democratic processes unfolding in these orphan constituencies, fostering transparency and public participation.
