Happy FM as part of its rebranding campaign, has introduced an all-new current affairs programme dubbed the ‘Happy Morning Show’ (HMS).
The Happy Morning Show which will start airing on 6th January, 2020 from 5:30am to 9:00am every weekday (Monday to Friday) is a socio-economic and political show aimed at highlighting everyday issues and concerns of Ghanaians, as well as giving people a voice.

The show will be hosted by three (3) seasoned journalists, Samuel Eshun formerly of Radio Gold, Fati Shaibu Ali, Coordinator of e. Academy and former News editor of e. TV Ghana, and Raymond Nyamador the former Host of “The King is Naked” show on Anopa Bosuo, and Host of ‘The Team’ on e.TV Ghana.

The show boasts of interactive and exciting segments like ‘Omane Ne Mu Te Sen’ ‘Pae Mu Ka’, Trending issues on social media, sports titbits, and many others.

The ‘Pae Mu Ka’ segment gives listeners the opportunity to send in voice notes about political, economic and other social issues affecting them in and around their various communities.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of the Global Media Alliance Group (GMA) Mr. Ernest Boateng shared the reasons behind the ‘Happy Morning Show’.

‘’The new programme is part of management’s efforts to meet the long desired requests from our listeners and our new rebranding campaign, that is why we introduced the ‘Happy Morning Show’ to precede our morning sports program ‘Anopa Busuo’. Radio production is dynamic and an ever changing medium, and as an industry we have to adapt to the technological and content trends to keep our audience abreast with information’’ he stated.

He also encouraged listeners to tune in to Happy FM every week day to be part of the exciting show.
‘’ I entreat listeners to fully participate in our interactive segments like ‘Omane Ne Mu Te Sen’ and phone-in to share the state of their communities from the sixteen Regions in Ghana especially those living in the six new Regions’’ he said.

Speaking about the introduction of the new show, Programmes Manager of Happy FM, Mr. Emmanuel Akrumah said: ‘’ The show will take advantage of modern technology to allow for easy listener interactions plus insight into topical issues by experts and resource persons. Happy FM as a brand is sensitive towards its audience, so the show has been designed to give listeners the opportunity to be part of almost all the segments of the show. Also, listeners get to participate in the show by commenting on issues using the hashtag #HMS on social media
’’ he stated.

‘’The show will run for three and half hours and is a mixed bag of motivation, health information, Regional News, social media trends, lifestyle, sports highlights, Newspaper headline reviews and promotions’’ he added.
