His Excellency Ambassador Mike Ocquaye has advised newly wedded couples of the Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding to establish the fear of the Lord in their marriage by going to church as a way to sustain their respective lifelong journeys.

Happy FM Valentine Mass Wedding is organized annually by Happy FM every February to unite couples and officially give these couples an opportunity to embark on their journey of holy matrimony.

Speaking as the guest of honor, Ambassador Mike Ocquaye jnr disclosed that marriage can only thrive under the conditions of mutual respect and tolerance. “Marriage is not an easy journey. As you begin this journey, you will encounter a lot of things. So wives, when your husband raises his voice in anger at you, do not retaliate! Be quiet until his anger subsides.”

He emphasized the fear of God these couples must observe in their marriages to maintain a healthy relationship “Let the fear of God be seen in your marriage; go to church as a couple; you can attend to anything from Monday to Saturday but make sure you go to church as a couple on Sunday; go to church as a family.”
