Hasaacas Ladies beat Ampem Darkoa to win the maiden edition of the First Ladies Cup

Hasaacas Ladies defeated Ampem Darkoa on penalties to win the maiden edition of the First Lady’s Cup on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The game ended 1-1 after regulation time and was decided through the penalty shootout.

Sonia Opoku scored the opening goal of the game in the 29th minute with a beautiful finish.

Ampem Darko went into the break leading the tie and was hoping to end the game with the lone goal.

Hasaacas Ladies bounced back in the game to get an equalizer in the 65th minute through Jafaru Rahama.

The game had to be decided through the penalty shootout after it ended 1-1 after regulation time.

Hasaacas Ladies won 5-4 on penalties to win their fifth trophy of the year.
