Hearts of Oak files protest against referee Kennedy Paddy over controversial penalty decision

Hearts of Oak have officially filed a protest against referee Kennedy Paddy following last Sunday’s controversial penalty decision awarded to Asante Kotoko in week 24 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.

Referee Kennedy Paddy awarded a penalty for Kotoko in the 17th minute minute after Fabio Gama was adjudged to have been fouled by Hearts of Oak midfielder Nurudeen Abdul Aziz.

The decision which led to Hearts of Oak’s defeat has generated a lot of talks after the game.

According to Hearts, the decision to award Kotoko a penalty was unprofessional and that the Review Committee under the auspices of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) should take a second look at the controversial penalty against the club.
