Here’s how to turn off a lighted candle properly

Senior Prophet Gabriel Twumasi of Universal Christ Church, has disclosed the proper way to turn off a lighted candle.

He emphasized that a lot of people are unaware of the fact that lighted candles have to be put off in an appropriate way to prevent certain misfortunes from happening in your life.

In an interview with Rev Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9 FM’s NsemPii, he shared, “If you fail to turn off a lighted candle properly if it was used for a spiritual purpose, whatever it is you used it for will go waste and it is possible for you to bring misfortunes upon your life”.

He stated that the most common way of turning a lighted candle off is to blow air with your mouth which unfortunately is not the right way to do it.

“Using your mouth to blow air to turn off a lighted candle is not right. Spiritually, it could bring several negatives in your life”.

He expressed that due to the saliva in our mouth which also carries power it is inappropriate to do this.

The prophet suggested that people who turn off a lighted candle properly should use a hard book cover to hit the lighted part or, “the best way is to use your thumb and index fingers to quickly turn off the fire” he said.

He went on to state that men of God who do this are likely to become more empowered than they were already because, “holding the fire to turn it off with your fingers multiples the power in you so it’s easy for you to chase out evil spirits”.
