On Friday, Richard Commey (29-2, 26 KOs) successfully defended his IBF title against Ray Beltran (36-9-1, 22 KOs).
Commey knocked the veteran and former titleholder Beltran down four times before the referee waived off the fight in the eighth round.
Commey now awaits the winner of the Teofimo Lopez vs. Masayoshi Nakatani fight which takes place on July 19 from the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
