"I am a true Phobian" – Yatsuhashi declares

Head coach of Inter Allies Kenich Yatsuhashi has reiterated that he is a die-hard fan of Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak.
The Japanese gaffer joined the Phobians two seasons ago and quickly endeared himself to their fans with his astute tactical nous – which earned him the ‘Sushi tactician’ nickname.
However, his relationship with the club’s management went sour in his second season with the club as they struggled to churn out the desired results, which informed the club to show him the exit midway through the campaign.
The 49-year-old had a short stint with FC Tiger in Cambodia before he was plucked by Inter Allies prior to the ongoing Zylofon Cash Premier League season.
Speaking to co-host of Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Odiasempa Kwame Oware, coach Keni stated categorically that despite working for Inter Allies, he is and will forever remain a staunch supporter of Hearts of Oak.
“I’m a Phobian as supporter. I’m Inter Allies coach but I am Hearts supporter. I hope they do well but I hope they don’t do well against the team I’m coaching,” Keni told Happy FM.
When asked if he will accept any offer from Hearts of Oak for a reunion, he said, “I have to think about it but they haven’t told me yet so I can’t answer it now.”
“I had a very good time with Hearts of Oak last year and I’m having a very good time with Inter Allies now.”
Keni will square off against Hearts of Oak for the first time in the ongoing campaign when Inter Allies host the Phobians on Match Day 14 at the Tema Stadium on Wednesday.
