The President of the Takoradi Concerned Mothers’ Association, Josephine Amoh has questioned the credibility of the forensic results by the Ghana police that has proven that the Takoradi missing girls are dead.

She expressed her doubt in an interview with Happy FM’s Nana Afrifa Mensah on the “Epahoa Daben” show.

“I still doubt the forensic reports by the police. I believe the Police are throwing dust into our eyes and this phenomenon is so painful.” She said

According to Josephine Amoh, her disbelief is based on the inconsistent information and happenings that surrounded the kidnappings of the Takoradi girls. She cited examples of the CID boss confirming that she knew where the girls were, how the Minister of interior confirmed that the girls were alive and when Owusu Bempah claimed he knew where the girls were without being questioned by the Police.

She added that the Police were discouraging the families of the girls from seeking a private DNA test to confirm if the girls were really dead.

“The Police are intimidating the families of the Takoradi girls with the prices of a private DNA test.” She said.

Ghana Police on the 16th of September, 2019 confirmed in a press conference that the DNA test results proved that the missing Takoradi girls were dead.
