Today on the International Women’s Day, we urge all women to participate in what determines their future; it’s about time women get involve scrapping out the high rate of women underrepresentation in all arms of our governance system and decision-making processes which makes it stiff for their voices to be head. It is about time that we count women among tech giants, engineering, cybersecurity etc.
The prevailing word of technology and digitization must not become a crisis for women in this age. But rather, stronger together, our society must build a system of support that encourages and resource women to endeavor for women digital pride.
We must integrate women into the mainstream piece of our workforce as a country, ensuring equitable access and equality at all levels and collectively, It is dawn on us as men to equally see women as an important fabric of a society intending to achieve a level playing field for all.
Let’s all embrace diversity, eschewing gender stereotypes and aggression against women for it’s possible. Happy International Women’s Day
