Israel’s security cabinet has approved a plan to take control of Gaza City. The announcement stopped short of explicitly stating that Israel would take full control of the Gaza Strip, although Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu previously said that was the intention.
Reliable news sources explain that the deadline for evacuating Gaza City which was October 7, falls in line with the evacuation plan which includes no aid distribution in the city as a means of forcing Palestinians to evacuate, according to a second Israeli source.
The plan also outlined principles to end the war that included Israeli security control of Gaza and a civilian administration to govern the enclave that is neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority.
Many world leaders and blocs have condemned Israel for the harsh acts as refugees grapple with access to food and potable water.
