Nana Ohene Ntow, a former General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged Ghanaians to vote against his former party ahead of the 2024 presidential elections.

According to Nana Ohene Ntow, a win for the NPP in the upcoming elections will be the end of the country amidst the corruption and mass illegal mining going on in the county.

He said the NPP will become more arrogant and will not respect Ghanaians any more.
“People the performance of this party does not warrant an extension of their mandate. If NPP wins this upcoming elections under the current circumstances of corruption, galamsay, economic mismanagement and hardship, Ghanaians are finished. They will never respect Ghanaians anymore. We will flee from this country if the NPP wins.”

He added that his statement doesn’t mean that the National Democratic Congress is the best choice.

“My statement also doesn’t mean that the NDC is the obvious choice but there is the need for an independent candidate.”
