Ghanaian comedian and socialite, Derrick Kobina Bonney also known as DKB has described flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as one of the most tolerable leaders of Ghana.

The popular comedian said this during a stand up performance at the NDC Townhall Conversations held on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra by the office John Dramani Mahama.

He recalled his participation in the DumsorMustStop demonstration in 2016 against the Mahama led government, explaining that he did not expect the ex president to ever see eye to eye with him. “You know I joined a demonstration against John Mahama in 2016; he is one of the most tolerable leaders of Ghana I have ever seen.”He later met Mr. Mahama at a program whom to his surprise embraced him. “I saw him at a program and wanted to take a photo with him.

I was afraid to ask because I joined the demonstration against him but when he saw me he cracked a joke with me and took the picture with me. John Mahama is human.”
