Jubilee House Guards Are Not Robbers- Ghana Police

The Assistant Commissioner of Police has released a press statement to disabuse the minds of the general public about the allegedly robbery that took place at East Legon on Sunday, 24th June 2018.
According to the Commissioner, investigations conducted into the case revealed that the three friends including Issah Muniru, who works at the operations unit of Jubilee House, were not engaged in any robbery but rather, they were mistaken as robbers.
He added that, the three were inquiring about the direction to ‘Kikibees’, a popular pub at East Legon when a passer-by upon hearing the conversation suspected them to be thieves and immediately raised an alarm which nearly resulted in them being lynched.
It took a police man to prevent the three from being lynched and later proceeded to arrest them. Upon investigations it is clear that the three are not robbers.

The Police advised that, people should refrain from instant mob action but rather hand over the persons suspected to the police.
