The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has formally submitted a petition to the Party’s National Disciplinary Committee against Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, citing defamation, misconduct, and gross indiscipline.

According to the petition, Mr. Baffoe made derogatory remarks about Ken Ohene Agyapong, including a claim that “even the elephant has more wisdom than Hon. Agyapong,” which the Party describes as defamatory and damaging to its reputation.

Mr. Baffoe is also accused of falsely alleging that the General Secretary concealed a report recommending Kennedy Agyapong’s expulsion, and of misrepresenting the contents of a disciplinary committee report.

“These actions are gravely detrimental to the image, unity, and integrity of the Party,” the petition states.

The Party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong has requested a full inquiry and appropriate disciplinary sanctions in line with the Party’s constitution.

“The NPP remains committed to fairness, discipline, and the protection of its democratic values,”.
