The Chief Executive Officer for Kay Sports, Kwame Owusu-Ameyaw, has explained the need for Ghanaian clubs to acquire and invest in database for their operations.

Owusu-Ameyaw, a specialist in database management stated that most clubs in the country are missing out on a lot of offers and sponsorships due to their inability to provide data in their operations.

Speaking in an interview on Happy Sports with Ohene-Bampoe Brenya, Owusu-Ameyaw said, “Every club needs a database for policy direction.

“There is the need for us to do more research and data acquisitions because with the database the clubs can do so many things such as sell advance tickets, know its fan base, raise funds, acquire sponsorships and many more”.

“It is time we have a serious database for the clubs. Most of these clubs have a fan base but because it hasn’t been documented we assume it is not there”.

He also revealed that Kay Sports is coming up with a system to address the issues with e-ticketing.
“Kay Sports is coming up with a system that will help people to get tickets early”.
