Gospel music lovers in Ghana are in for a night of divine encounter as celebrated gospel minister Kofi Owusu Peprah gears up to host a powerful live worship concert on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Cedar Mountain Assemblies of God Church in East Legon, Accra.

The highly anticipated event, dubbed “Kofi Owusu Peprah Live”, promises to be more than just a musical experience—it is expected to be a night of heartfelt worship, high praise, and deep spiritual renewal. The concert will bring together some of the most respected voices in gospel music, including the legendary Cindy Thompson, the award-winning Harmonious Chorale, and the internationally acclaimed Luigi Maclean.

Speaking ahead of the concert, Kofi Owusu Peprah expressed excitement and deep spiritual anticipation for what God is about to do through the event.

“This is not just another concert,” he shared in an interview. “It’s a gathering of believers who are hungry for God. We’re creating an atmosphere where lives will be transformed, healing will flow, and Jesus will be lifted high.”

Known for his soul-stirring anthems such as “Yesu Nyame Ba”, “Mensuro”, and “Matwen Awurade,” Kofi Owusu Peprah has become a household name in the Ghanaian gospel scene. His unique blend of traditional gospel and contemporary worship continues to resonate with audiences both locally and internationally.

The concert’s headline guest, Cindy Thompson, is no stranger to powerful worship moments. With timeless hits like “Awurade Kasa” and “Dromo,” she is expected to lead attendees into a deep place of worship.

Also gracing the stage is the Harmonious Chorale, led by James Varrick Armaah. Known for their vocal precision and excellence in choral ministry, the group is expected to deliver spine-tingling performances that uplift the soul and stir the spirit.

Another highlight of the night will be Luigi Maclean, whose smooth vocal delivery and anointing have earned him admiration across Africa. His presence on the lineup is seen as a major boost to an already powerful gathering.

Organizers of the event have assured the public of a well-organized and spirit-filled evening. Admission to “Kofi Owusu Peprah Live” is expected to be free, but attendees are encouraged to come early as the venue is expected to fill up quickly.

“The atmosphere will be electric, but more importantly, it will be charged with the presence of God,” Peprah said. “If you’ve ever needed a moment to reconnect with your faith, this is the place to be.”

Cedar Mountain Assemblies of God, known for hosting major gospel events, will serve as the perfect venue for this sacred night. The church’s spacious auditorium and well-equipped facilities make it ideal for a worship gathering of this magnitude.

Fans, church groups, choirs, and lovers of gospel music are already buzzing with anticipation across social media platforms, with many calling the event “a must-attend” on this year’s gospel calendar.

As August 17 approaches, all eyes and hearts are turning toward East Legon. One night. One sound. One spirit. Kofi Owusu Peprah Live is not just a concert it’s a move of God in motion.
