Oda Kotoku Royals secured a historic Ghana Premier League promotion after a goalless draw against Tema Youth in final day of the Division One League.
The draw puts the Zone Three leaders just a point ahead of second place Liberty Professionals.
The Eastern Region based team finished at the summit of the Zone Three table with 63 points whiles Liberty Professionals accumulated 62 points.
It is the first time the club is achieving promotion to the Ghanaian top-flight having missed out on numerous occasions.
This means Eastern Region will enjoy Premier League football after several years following the demotion of Okwahu United and other clubs.
The Oda-based club enjoyed an amazing campaign in the Division One League and will be looking forward to making an impact in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
