"Kweku Ayiah is the acting GFA President” – Wilfred Palmer confirms

Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association has disclosed that Kwaku Ayiah has taken over as the interim president of the Ghana Football Association as Kwesi Nyantakyi continues to assist the police in the investigation into his alleged fraudulent act.
On Tuesday, president Nana Addo ordered for the arrest of the Ghana FA capo after he was found to have peddled in all forms of corruption including defrauding by false pretence using the name of the President.
The directive follows an investigative piece by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
Anas’ latest film dubbed ‘Number 12’, which is yet to be screened publicly, is believed to be containing incriminating evidence which shows Nyantakyi took money from people and promised them that he will “give the President of Ghana some of it” and also guaranteed them access to Nana Akufo-Addo.
Speaking on Happy FM, Osei Palmer, who doubles as the vice chairman of the Black Stars management committee chairman, posited that, “There’s no power vacuum at the FA due to our structure. As we speak now we don’t have a substantive vice president. However, when the president is not around, there’re people who assume his position, and as we speak now, I know lawyer Kweku Ayiah is the one in charge.”
“He is the acting president of the FA and he is competent enough to discharge his duties as such.”
Lawyer Kweku Ayiah is the management committee chairman of the Black Starlets.
