Top scorer of the 2016 Ghana Premier League, Latif Blessing and his club Liberty Professionals are being dragged to court by football agent Kofi Barwuah for botched deal to Tunisian giants CS SFaxien.
Speaking on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Barwuah asserted that he had reached an agreement with Liberty Professionals and the player to take him to CS SFaxien but the latter party stalled the move for some incomprehensible reason.
“I got a deal for Latif Blessing at CS Sfaxien and I spoke to the player as well as Liberty Professionals. Liberty gave me a letter, mandating me to go ahead and secure the deal for him. I asked Latif categorically if he had a manager and he responded in the negative but when everything was done and we were supposed to go, he came and told me he has a manager. I thought it was a commercial manager but when we went to see them, they declined the deal, fluffing everything we had worked for. I am suing them for damages.” Kofi Barwuah told Happy FM.
In a reaction to this assertion, Latif responded that aside the fact that his manager refused to let him join CS Sfaxien, his mother was also averse to him going to play an Arab land.
