Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for La Dadekotopon, Nii Amasah Namoale has launched a scathing attack on loyalist of former President John Mahama in his bid to lead the NDC into the 2020 general election.

According to Namoale, followers of the Former President don’t attack message [National Policy] but rather attack the messenger.

Speaking on Happy FM’s Epa Hoa Daben show, Mr. Namoale posited that supporters of Mahama must learn to debate on national issues by not attacking individuals.

“Mahama followers are best known for attacking individuals verbally but are very shallow when it comes to debating on national issues or policies. Attack the message I’m delivering not me.”

He also added that, some cronies of Mahama will call to threaten you and your family if you speak not in their favor.

“If you talk and It’s not in favor of Mahama, his supporters will call and threaten you and your family members.”

However, Namoale, who has come out openly to declare his support for Professor Joshua Alabi said,  Mr. Alabi is the obvious choice for the NDC Party and is therefore urging delegates to give him their mandates in order to guarantee them two-terms in office unlike Mahama.
