President John Dramani Mahama has warmly extended his heartfelt Mother’s Day wishes to all mothers across Ghana, including a special tribute to his former Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, May 11, President Mahama revealed that he visited Professor Opoku-Agyemang earlier in the day, calling the meeting a meaningful and significant gesture.
“A special Mother’s Day greeting to my Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman, whom I had the pleasure of visiting earlier this morning,” he wrote.
The President noted that the Vice President is currently enjoying a well-deserved rest after a recent illness and is
expected to resume her official duties soon.
“To her and all Ghanaian mothers, I say Happy Mother’s Day,” he added.
