The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has officially submitted his nomination forms at the Electoral Commission headquarters.

The forms were submitted on his behalf by the party’s National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, popularly known as General Mosquito.

He was accompanied by key party leaders, including Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary, Dr. Omane Boamah, Director of IT and Elections, Mahdi Jibril, Deputy Director of Elections, and Madam Obuobi Darko, among others.

Speaking to the press after the submission, Mr. Asiedu Nketia expressed confidence in the NDC’s chances in the upcoming December elections, stating that widespread sentiments across the country indicate a desire for change.
He emphasized that this change would allow Ghanaians to take control of their future and restore the nation’s democracy.

He added that the party had submitted their fully completed forms, which had been accepted, and they now await scrutiny and the final response from the commission. He also reassured the public that they are confident in the eligibility of their candidate, with no concerns about the nomination process.
