MP’s wife drags Ursula Owusu to court for sitting on her husband's lap

The wife of Juaboso MP, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has reportedly filed a court suit against Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West Ursula Owusu for causing her emotional pain and trauma after she harassed her husband sexually in Parliament.

During the election of Speaker of Parliament, it will be recalled that the encounter between the two MPs caused a stir when Ursula Owusu  was seen draped in a kente outfit, comfortably sitting on the laps of Kwabena Mintah Akandoh with her arms folded.

This was after she claimed the Juaboso MP had taken her seat in Parliament.

However, some social media netizens accused the NDC MP of “enjoyment” when Ursula sat on him.

Meanwhile, Mr Akandoh in an interview on Peace FM, indicated that he rather felt harassed contrary to claims that he had fun.

“I am sure Hon. Ursula Owusu was rather enjoying me whilst she sat on my lap since I wasn’t feeling anything for her,” he said.

He further revealed that his wife was exasperated by Ursula Owusu’s conduct and therefore threatened to sue her for sexual harassment.
