The MTV Europe Music Award for Best African act is a regional category in the music channel awards ceremony set in Europe to cater for African acts based on their performance in a given year.

The award which has previously been won by 3 Nigerian artistes – 2 face (2005), D banj ( 2007/2012) and Davido (2017) out of the nine awards given out has seen none won by any Ghanaian artiste.

This year’s award night is said to hold at Bilbao Exhibition Centre, Barakaldo, Biscay on Sunday, November 4.

The Vice President for Youth, Music and BET at Viacom International Media Networks, Monde Twala, said:
