Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo, coach of the Black Queen, has made changes going into this today’s game against Togo at 6:30pm at the
Stade Robert Champroux.

Mukarama Abdulai, who won the ‘Golden Boot’ after finishing top scorer during the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, will be part of the first 11. She also collected the Adidas Bronze Ball (third best player) World Cup in Uruguay last year.

Grace Animah and Mukarama Abdulai were introduced in Wednesday’s 2:0 victory against Senegal in the first group match with Mukarama scoring her debut goal for the Black Queens.

Coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo, impressed with the performance of the duo, has agreed to start them in the Togo versus Ghana game.

Speaking to a member of the Black Queens media officers, Ayishatu Zakaria Al, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo revealed that “I have made few changes in the set I started with on Wednesday. I wanted everybody to play because they are capable.I want to maintain a winning team so as and when the need arises I will make my changes.”

“I have made two changes in attack. I am bringing in Mukarama for Jane Anyieyam and Grace Animah for Alice Kusi,” she added.

The set were a destructive duo for coach Evans Adotey at the World Cup last year, and seem to be combining well for the Black Queens.
