One of Ghana’s favourite male vocalist, Luther, who recently changed his showbiz name to Luta has revealed that He was pushed to join juju.
Luta in an interview with DJ Advicer, host of “Ayekoo After Drive Show” on Happy 98.9FM described the struggle there is in doing music. He explained how his friends persuaded him to visit a fetish Priest in other to gain fame but he did not give in to them.
Describing his struggles he said ”There is too much hunger in doing music, there were days that I had nothing on me and no shows to play too. There were times I did not have a dime on me to do anything talk of going to the studio to record. The little money I make is all channeled into recording, artworks, and buy new clothes hence one is unable to invest.”
In the midst of his struggles he explained how his friends he had back then tried to convince him to use black magic to help him attain the fame his was working for.
“I had lot of friends I mean plenty who were ready and pushing me to allow them to take me to see a good Juju man who will help give me the success I wanted. but I did not listen to them because I don’t believe in that.”
DJ Advicer asked, if he feels someone is working on him spiritually, the hitmaker said ”Yes, sure, but I won’t say maybe I know who the person is and I know this world is made up of bad things like this and people know what to do.”
