National Builders Corps (NaBCo) set to tackle graduate unemployment in Ghana

National Builders Corps (NaBCo) is a job creation intervention by the Akufo-Addo administration which will be under direct supervision of the president, NaBCo which came to power on the back of widespread unemployment.
The programme which was launched by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in KNUST Great Hall on May 1, 2018 tends to absorb the raw talents of unemployed graduates and equip them with skills through a process of value addition and training.
The scheme which comes in seven modules; namely, Educate Ghana, Heal Ghana, Feed Ghana, Revenue Ghana, Digitize Ghana, Civic Ghana and Enterprise Ghana is expected to employ 100,000 graduates this year.
Enrollment in the NaBCo scheme will last for a period of 3 years under a remuneration of 600 to 700  GH¢ every month is opened to all Ghanaians who have honored their national service obligations.
The application process begins on June 1, 2018 and ends on July 1, 2018. Selected applicants would be deployed to commence work by August 1, 2018.
According to President Akufo-Addo, online application is necessary to elevate inefficiency in the application process as well as serve as an opportunity to check for other available national data basis to avoid fraud.
