The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the termination of all volunteer appointments, effective February 28, 2025, as part of its ongoing restructuring efforts.

In a statement issued by Director General Felix Gyamfi, the NSA clarified that the termination applies to all volunteers, except in districts where a single staff member is responsible for operations.

“Such districts will retain one volunteer assistant. Additionally, vacant districts will be allowed to maintain one assistant, a cleaner, catering staff, and farm personnel,” parts of the statement read.

The Authority expressed gratitude to its volunteers for their dedication and hard work, recognizing their valuable contributions.

As part of the termination process, Heads of Departments (HODs), Unit Heads, and Regional Directors have been instructed to ensure the return of all NSA property, including laptops, documents, and motorbikes, before the deadline.
