Executives of the NDC Ablekuma West constituency have debunked allegations of vandalising the office of the outgoing MP Ursula Owusu Ekuful and the municipal office.

The constituency Chairman Bright Mawuli Ahoto in a press conference indicated that NDC supporters in Ablekuma West are law abiding and know nothing about the alleged vandalism and looting at the Municipal assembly and the MP’s office. He called on the Ghana Police Service to investigate and bring the perpetrators to book.

He emphatically stated that upon hearing the unfortunate happenings in the constituency executives visited the scene and realised the perpetrators are not members of the NDC.

According to him many attempts have been made by these unknown persons to break into the GIFC office which is also close to the Municipal Assembly to take some valuable items. However the NDC executives and together with NPP executives in a consensus have packed those items to a police station for safety until further notice.

Bright Ahoto stated that Ghanaians should ignore the false news being speculated by NPP national executives concerning them. He urged all NDC supporters to remain calm while jubilating and desist from any unlawful acts.
